Hello Gilles,

I have a website with a 02.01.25 version store module.
ive noticed that after i am transfered to paypal and i make the payment and return to my website (theres the "GatewayExit=return&OrderID=*" in the url)
the basket is not clear.
i still have the same products i just paid for in my basket.
when i try to delete all products from the basket and buy something else, i get the "Invoice already paid for" error from Paypal.
it seems that for some reason the OrderID stays the same.
im guessing that when the basket is clear, the entire Order is closed and when u next add a product to the basket a new row is genereted in the DB.
From looking in my own DB i can see that everytime i try to pay (sometimes a day after i managed to complete the buying process) the same row is being changed.

any ideas whats happening?

and also, i want the users that finshed buying at paypal will be Automaticly redirected to my site.
i know theres an option from the Paypal account to redirect automaticly but only to a fixed url. (cant insert the order id)
so is there a way to manually close the order and clear the basket for the user?

Thank you,
Yotam.

Hi Yotam,

Your Store version is old, almost 30 new versions has been produced in the meanwhile and 2 official releases (02.01.36 and 03.00.00)! Could you please backup your db and website then install the last 03.00.00?

In your PayPal account backoffice, you have to enable IPN and enter the root url of your website. After the payment, PayPal will redirect your customer to the page where the Store Account module is placed because the Store module override the IPN return url at runtime.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
