Hi there,

DNN 05.01.04
Store 03.03.03

I have been asked by a SEO company to add some Analytics code to the DNN Store confirmation page on a website following a successful PayPal purchase. I'm not at all sure how I should go about this? I have added general Analytics code for every page to Default.aspx but how to add the analytics code to the Paypal purchase confirmation is beyond me!

I look forward to any assistance you can offer.

Best regards,   Alan

Hi Alan,

Store 03.03.03 does not exist! Are you sure you use the DotNetNuke Store module?

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

Many thanks for the reply.

Sorry for the "Back to the Future" moment there - you are quite right it's 3.0.0 not 3.3.3 (I obviously got carried away with my 3's.

Yes we are definately using the DotNetNuke Store module.

Can you assist with were in the module the analytics code should go?

Best regards,

Alan

Hi Alan,

If you have an access to the Store files under DesktopModules\Store, edit the file Checkout.ascx:

...some code before...
<asp:placeholder id="plhOrder" runat="server" visible="false">
        <div id="StoreAccountCheckoutOrderResult" class="StoreAccountCheckoutOrderResult">
  ...some code...
        </div>
 PLACE YOUR SCRIPT HERE
</asp:placeholder>
... some code after ...

Don't forget to backup your file because this change will be overriden if your upgrade your module! I could add such kind of features in the next version, but I need more detail about your needs.

Gilles
