Hello,

I just installed the store module today and I have to say I am quite impressed with the functionality and extensibility of this module. Great work to Gilles and anyone else that created and enhanced this module!

In using it, I was wondering if there is anyway to change the order of the check out steps. When you click on the View Basket link from the mini-cart, the first page you come to in the store account is the address page...that seems perhaps a bit counter intuitive. I'd like the order review page (i.e. shopping cart page to be what you land on by clicking the View Basket from mini-cart...and also if possible, make the cart review the first step in the checkout process. Is there any way to do this without hacking into the source code?

Hi Chad,

It depends of the Chekout Mode setting and if you are already logged. As a sample, when 'Registration Required' is defined and you'r NOT logged, when you clik on 'View Basket' the cart is displayed with a message explaining that a user account is required.

IMHO, display the cart if no other instruction is required, is counter productive because it's exactly the same informations you come from (the mini-cart)! I know than the 'View Basket' could be changed to 'Checkout', but it depends of the context and your settings. Moreover, you can change it (like all strings) in the Language Editor. If you really need to ALWAYS display the cart at first, I could add a new setting to do it in the Store Account module for the next version.
