Ok so I moved my Store Catalog module from page A to page B.
In the StoreAdmin settings I defined page B as the Store page.
But now I can't access any of my category or product pages anymore! I keep getting redirected to my Store Catalog page.

After a while I noticed the following:
Before I moved the page, a typical URL in my store would look like this:
http://www.detollenaere.eu/machines/tabid/99/categoryid/154/default.aspx

Now for some reason, the tabid has changed from 99 to 208.
So if I try to access /tabid/99/categoryid/154/default.aspx it doesn't work,
but if I go to /tabid/208/categoryid/154/default.aspx then it works fine!

So how do I change the tabid back to 99?

Another problem that occurred with moving the catalog is that I now have a copy of each category in my Store. How did that happen?? Is there a way to delete those duplicate categories in bulk? The only difference between the copies and the originals is the categoryid.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,

Each page (tab) have it's own TabId, that's why your url change if you move the Store Catalog module from one page to another. This is normal! You can't change a TabId from the DNN menu because this value have to be unique in the database! You could do it directly in the database but this is VERY dangerous if you don't know what you do!!! You SHOULD AVOID such kind of changes in the database.

If you can't access some of your products, it's probably because you have "hard coded" some or all url in a text field. The Store module compute  the product's url from the Store Page setting defined in the Store Admin module. Because you have changed this setting, your url should works except if some or all are "hard coded" (entered by hand) in a text field!

Concerning the duplicate categories, may be you have copied the Store Category module and choose to copy data also from the DNN menu? There is no menu or action from the Store module to copy all the categories and/or products. Unfortunately, there is no bulk delete feature, you have to delete them one by one from the Store Admin module.

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
