Hi Lee,

You encounter this error probably because the email address you entered in the PayPal ID field is not the one you have to use with your sandbox account. Paypal require to create specials sandbox seller AND client accounts to test your store when using the sandbox mode. Please read the PayPal documentations at: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/cla... and more specifically the one about sandbox: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/cla...

Moreover, you HAVE to be connected with your sandbox seller account inside the SAME browser when you simulate a client payment!

When you want to test your Store configuration with the sandbox mode, you should NOT use your real PayPal account. Again, this is a PayPal requirement, not one from the Store module. This can be a little disappointing but this is how PayPal sandbox works!

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks Gilles:

I found the PayPal sandbox screens very difficult to get both setup.

So I fell back to a process one would eventually use of setting the price at $1 & run a real transaction.
