A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

 

got this error when trying to upload an item in a store module, any suggestions ?  thank you

I've seen this a few times now where people post without enough details...is it worth having a quick guideline on how to post to the forum with troubleshooting ideas...e.g. version of DNN, version of DNN store, was it all workign before, is it a particular area that is continually broken etc.
The good old 'object reference...' error can be a fountain of errors also, possibly also to check the issues register to see whether a bug exists or not...although you can't search gemini and the bugs list is a few pages now which makes it more of a chore.

You will find additional information on this error in your DNN log viewer.  If you post the information from the log viewer entry that corresponds to your error, this will assist people in helping.
