Tax rates are installed as 0.00.  Our sales tax is 6%, which must be entered as 0.06 or a validator fires, and two error messages appear.  This entry method doesn't support fractional tax rates.

Two suggested fixes:

1) Have only one error message show.

2) Change the format of the taxe entry.  6% is supported, but not 6.25% (0.0625 would be the entry).  I suggest entering percentage (6% = 6.00, 6.25% = 6.25) rather than decimal (6% = 0.06).  Be mindful that some tax rates may be in eigths (6.125%), so three decimal places should be supported.

Re: entering it as a percentage...for example, ours is 6.75%. I've tried to put in 6.75 for Ohio and it won't allow it.

Does anyone know if this is due to be fixed anytime soon? Is ANYONE who needs to charge sales tax currently using the store module? Seems like a complete deal breaker if I cant get past this. Am I right? Unless...I have the ability to alter the code to get past it, which is not an option for me.
