I have configured my product catalog and added a Store Account module to a page as a "cart". A link module under the Store Menu links displays the Cart. Permissions on the catalog page and cart page are "all users". Clicking the Login to Checkout displays the login and returns to the cart page which now shows a "checkout" link. However, clicking the "checkout" link just brings up the login again. This cycle loops. I have configured Paypal as my payment processor. Can anybody suggest what's wrong in this scenario?

By doing some experimentation, I discovered that only the SuperUser account (HOST) can successfully cause the CHECKOUT link to bring up the shipping information screen.

Other anomolous behavior  on the Store page, which has the Catalog, Store Menu, Link Module with a link to the Store Account (Cart) and an HTML/TEXT module, is that EVERY settings click logs out the current user (except the Superuser) and displays the login prompt. All permissions are set to Use Page Permissions and the Page Permissions are set to Administrator Edit and View (during development). Clearly there is something wrong with the security here.

Any suggestions on how to work around this? Delete the Admin account and make a new one, maybe?

I also have this problem. Looking at eventlog I see an exception on checkout; maybe this can help developers:

I actually can register orders only with the host account. Can't access order details after that, thought (there's a label "order detail", but no link: is this supported?).

That is the same behavior I experienced. When my second issue appeared (users could not register) I had to abandon the portal and recreate it. I haven't recreated my store yet to test if it will work as expected in the new portal.
