Is this the end of the store module or is there any "new" news on someone else working on it? Also, has anyone heard any news on the aspnetstorefront module release date and if so could you supply a link with info. If their hasn't been a release of a module .....then I'm done with the DNN dream and going to purchase the aspdotnetstorefront source code.

Hi Devin,
I can assure you that this is not the end of store module.  There will be some news coming very shortly.  Hang in there just a little bit longer.

Thanks,

Will

Thanks for the reply Will. I wish I could be so optimistic. The problem is that I have been hearing that since August 2006.  There hasn't been any ("released") work on the store model in over 6 months. Rumars are flying that the original developer is "missing". That fine if the dotnetnuke team doesn't want the store module to progress so the aspdotnetstore module will sell. I'm fine with that...I'll buy it, but that was suppose to be released in December and here we are half way through January with no aspdotnetstorefront module, a non-working store module and very little help. I feel bad for those that got caught up in the idea of  having an online business (like myself) with Dotnetnuke!

I think what's most discouraging about this module is the lack of communication from the project team to the community. There has been some help provided to the current version but very little info has been provided to the community regarding the current state and future direction of this project. I guess it's a good sign that there's a new project leader. But overall I'm not sure why everything has been so secretive -- we're all adults (we can handle the truth) just let us know what's going on. Please
