Good to hear. I was starting to think that it still may be a few years before people start taking advantage of the Microsoft OS on phones/PDA's. I use the Palm Treo with the Microsoft Mobile 5.0 operating system and Broadband/Nation internet access to monitor company stats and provide support from anywhere (not just local hot spots or over my networks WiFi).
Have you been using the new mobile application for SigmaPro? If so, what are your thoughts? Personally, I use it all the time and I couldn't imaging not having it. Having the ability to view and respond to support requests, view current site stats, look-up sales orders, etc from anywhere (in traffic, hiking, client site, restaurant, on the beach, etc) is priceless.
The mobile application for SigmaPro is a little different then the dashboard mobile application in that it allows you to submit comments to tickets and will soon include more interaction as well. The Dashboard mobile application is a spin-off from that tool but uses H2O forms to render the dashboard to the mobile device. This will allow complete customization over the dashboard using a tool most OnyakTech subscribers are already familiar with. You even have the option of creating a dashboard for specific DNN Roles to secure information to authorized personnel only.
In regards to the Office add-ins, the current add-ins by OnyakTech for Outlook and Microsoft Project will remain as is for Office 2000 to 2003. This hold on Office add-on releases is due to our current development efforts for Office 2007.
In other words, there will be some big releases this spring by OnyakTech for SigmaPro, SigmaLive and H2O that include Microsoft Office add-ons and Mobile applications.
Since this is an area you are interested in, I would love to hear your feedback as this progresses.
