Hi

This is my fisrt install of DNN and I have read all the online docs and tutorial. I have followed these steps;
1. Create folder
2. Extract Install.zip to folder.
3. Change Web Config file.
4. Grant folder Permissions.
5. Create DB and db_owner account.
6. Config IIS.

I am running WinXP Sp 2 on a Workgroup at home with IIS 5, SQL 2005.

If get the following error when I install through the IE browse with localhost/WEBNAME.

Please give me an idea how I can fix this?

May I recommend using the intaller, I had a lot of trouble trying to install the application manually, the installer however works great (IMHO).  The only problem I ever had was having to go into the Administrative Tools Internet Infromation services default web site, properties , home directory set this to the dotnuke directory, in my case thats C:\Inetpub\DotNetNuke.   You can find the installer here
