guys,

im new to dotnetnuke...

im customizing the forum module. i want a user to reply for the threads, but he shud not have permission to create a new thread. will it be possible?

help will be highly appreciated

Hi I know that you can do this with the www.ActiveModules.com forum they have out and it is very easy to set up.

I understand that Active Forums is an excellent module, but before you start spending money, I'd take a look at the new forum that is coming very soon.  Your requirements might be met with the core module nicely...

In any case, if you are a new user, there is a lot of DNN to get familiar with!
