Has anyone been having trouble installing 3rd party with DNN 4.4.1?  I have a new site setup (clean not an upgrade) with no modifications at all and have not been able to install any of the modules I have rated up through ver. 4.4.0.  Each time I get the usual installation progress notes with the final message stating installation was successful.  After clicking return at the end I get a basic runtime error shown below.

This happens with each and every module.  Have there been breaking changes in 4.4.1 that are causing this?

Thanks everyone!

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Server Error in '/' Application.

Without revealing the detailed error message, its not going to be easy assisting you resolving the issue.

To get the full error message try changing your web.config file to what described above.

Do you have access to the console of the machine the portal is running on? If so, try accessing the portal using a browser on the console, and using the localhost address. In that way you can get the full error message without having to make changes to your config files.

The pro-guys need a "stack trace" from .NET in order to help you better ...

If you dont have access to the console, you need to make the changes suggested by the error-page you allready have. The changes will enable detailed error messages for users not accessing the portal directly though the console.
