Running DNN 4.4.0. I have just noticed that the "Authentication" page which appears under the "Admin" page has also appeared as a sub page to one of my other pages. I am not using Windows Authentication and have no idea how this spurious instance appeared. What is more, even logged in as Host, I do not have any option to remove the page. I guess I can go into the Database and delete it directly from there but I am not keen to do so, unless I know how it got there in the first case.
Has anyone else come across this kind of thing? i.e. an instance of a page suddenly appearing elsewhere in the hierarchy?
Also would it be safe to delete the page directly from the database table?

I still have no idea what caused the problem but - in case anyone else gets the same thing happening -here is how I solved it. First I thought I would just delete the record from the "Tabs" table  - but there wasn't one! Go figure - maybe it was some kind of skin problem? So, in order to delete the errant subpage, I created another page and copied all those subpages that I wanted across from the original. Then deleted the original which got rid of the subpage as well.

One thing which may or may not be related . all my RSS feeds between my portals (Its an intranet) stopped working. I had to go in and re "Syndicate" them. Its a mystereee!
