Yesterday I updated to 4.4.1. Today I have one site whos root directory is missing but the files that existed in root show in the files menu. Therefore I can not open any other folders. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. I am logged in as Host.

One site is missing both the admin file manager and the host file manager roots. What could be causing this?

Did you do a backup? I always backup all files and database prior to upgrade just in case things blow up. Did you copy the machineKey from the old web.config to the new release.config and rename it? Did you synchronize your folders and select recursive?

Did all of the above. I have over 30 sites and only one was affected.
