I have a custom module that uses a basic paypal button so that registered users can buy law reviews from a law firm. Users also have to fill out a request and send it to the law firm so that the firm knows what they are reviewing. The request form is basically the feedback module in disguise. I have both the paypal button module (which opens a new window so that users are not directed away from the page) and the feedback module on the same page with instructions for people to both pay and fill out the request but my boss thinks that it would be better for users to pay at paypal, then return to the site and send a request. I am contemplating ways to do this. The best I can think of is for the paypal button to execute a javascript that creates a cookie and when the user returns to the site the cookie can be detected and the user redirected to the feedback module. Is there a better way of doing this? What I mean is, is there a better way of interacting with paypal?

Never mind....apparently you can set the return address for a successful payment when the button is generated, so all I had to do was tell my boss to set the address for the request form. Wish I knew that yesterday...

All you have to do is take the original HTML code that paypal gives you and put it on the module. Then you remove the form tags. Then you add this code to the button:

onClick =  "document.getElementById('Form').action='https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr';"

I hear that different versions of DNN have differnent FormIDs so 'Form' could be 'Form1' or something similar. Hope that helps.

Hi, my question may seem to be rather simple, but I need your help.

I followed the instruction in Paypal and copied the original  'Add to basket'  HTML in to my web content pane. The button is showing perfectly, but some how the right pane on the page is push down to the bottom.

I presume it's because the size of the button is too wide that it 's gone over the module size. But I don't know how to adjust the button size ,( as I don't know anything about HTML) .

What should I do .

thx.
