my buddy who turned me on to DNN told me to only use SQL server authentication when i set up login\user for the database.  I also found forums that said the same thing.  On the other hand i found forums that told me the exact opposite, they told me to use windows authentication.  The only way i could get DNN to work was to use IIS_WGP as the login\user for the database using windows authentication.  i could not get DNN to connect to the database with sql authentication...so i guess my question now is: did i make my web server\DNN installation\sql server open to intrusion\attack?!? Also, if it is imperative that i use sql authentication, then is there a specifice login\user name that i should use...although, in the web.config file the section for sql express requires no username or password so i dont see how it matters.

win serv 2003, iis6, asp.net v2.0, mssql 2005 express
