Been having a hard time finding the information on the site, so I thought I'd post here.

Basically my company currently uses Rainbow, and we're looking into other solutions since Rainbow support seems to be a bit lacking, and DNN is one of the options we're considering, largely because of the reletive ease to convert since the database structures are similar enough that we could probably convert without a major headache.

Support is a big thing to us however.  Does DNN have a paid support option where can can pay $ and have a telephone number to call when things go terribly wrong and we need to get things up and working fast, or if we have questions, or things like that.  Although I support having free software, sometimes for a business it's worth the money to have someone available that can help out when it's needed.  If we can find some paid support, it would greatly increase our chance of going DNN

There is a great support at the forums (we have hundreds of posts per day and most of them get answered the same day). Besides there are a number of DNN professionals providing paid support (not to mention, that we are doing it using email, phone and remote control at my company ;-)).

Cheers from Germany,

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly on the forum support.  I've been very impressed with the info I've been able to find on them.  My company (a gov't organization) likes the idea of phone support where we can call someone if we have something we can't find on forums that's a problem.  We have a fairly high profile site with an average of 150 users on at a time, so we can't afford to have problems.  If you can either post or email me some of the support options, I would greatly appreciate it.  It would greatly help in my bid to convert us over to DNN.  :)  Paying for support isn't usually an issue since we often pay hundreds or into the low thousands for support contracts.  It's often cheaper than the labor costs of employees.
