Hi,

Have hosted a DNN site on a Web server, and the mail server is a different server. Need to configure DNN to send emails to an id, which is configured to the mail server, which is on a different server.

Any help on this?

Thanks

what do you mean by id? have a look into the smtp settings in host settings, where access to the mail server is configured.

Cheers from Germany,

Hi,

Thanks for your response. By id, I mean email id.

For eg, the domain name is www.domain1.com and is hosted on a server.

The mail server is different, and is not on the server on which my site is hosted. The SMTP for my mail server (eg, mail.mailserver.com), I am setting this in the SMTP settings section under Host. But this fails the test.

Any ideas?
