I am running a different portal app but am switching over to DNN 4. Is there an easy way to copy the user data over? All the user table is in an Access DB table which the new portal has access to by DSN. I am considering writing an asp page to create the two connections (one to Access and one to the DNN SQL Server), and run the AddUser and AddUserRole storedprocedures with the new user data. Will this work?

I had to import 500 users with different roles and expiration dates from a proprietary system to DNN. I started with a spreadsheet of my members and John Mitchelle's importer code.  I updaed his code a bit and did some reporting.  Here are all the steps: DotNetNuke User Import by Eric Shafer
