I keep seeing references to MySql and the DataAdapter for it but nowhere have I found a robust set of instructions for getting the MySql modules needed for DotNetNuke and modifying the Web.config file for MySql.  Instructions are excellent for Sql Server but not MySql.  Can anyone help?

I have been trying unsuccessfully for some time to modify my web.config file to complete the install. I am using sqlExpress and I amwondering if that is making a difference.

Thanks

PS If this is in the wrong place I apologize.

I am having the same problem. It appears to be exceptioning in SqlDataProvider.vb because the template file (DotNetNuke_template.mdf) is missing.

I am also having the same problem with a fresh install of 4.02.

I am using SQL Server 2k3 standard sp4

You are probably confused. There's only SQL 2000 and SQL 2005. This is a thread about MySQL.

Now onto the question... There are no MySQL Data Providers for DNN versions 3 and higher.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
