Trying to manage a user's roles ... select the role from the dropdown list, and when selecting the desired role, an autopostback event fires. Depending on how I got into the manage roles area, I either get redirected back to the user credential page, or if I had used the icon on the manage users page to get to manage roles, then the page just refreshes with 'administrator' back as the selected value.

Can't add a role to a user when that happens! DNN 4.4.1, compression turned off.

Just to set the record straight ... Things went swimmingly for a while with Firefox, but to be fair to IE7, all the regular DNN 4.4.1 problems cropped back up. I went between browsers to see if it was a browser issue, but it's not.

I'd have expected, of course, that if there were browser issues, it would more likely be the other way around, anyway --- that IE would have a happier time than Mozilla, if anything.

The problems are in DNN 4.4.1, I think, not in any browser.
