Hi there.

I've just noticed that the DotNetNuke 4.4.1 membership provider seems to ignore most of the "aspnet_xxx" tables, and doesn't seem to respect the "RequiresUniqueEmail" setting (which is how I became aware of this!)  Are there plans afoot to migrate to the .NET 2 way of doing this?  (and in the meantime, is there a way of enforcing a unique email address?)

Max.

Guess what? It's now enforcing the unique emails. It was probably just a slow cache on my web server...  Still curious about the aspnet_xxx tables though - are the other user tables just hangovers from .NET 1.1?

some of the aspnet tables are part of this Microsoft component, but no loger used by DNN, since roles and role asssignments as well as user profiles are now stored in DNN tables.

Cheers from Germany,
