Hi Folks

I was just wanting to find out something about the application.  I have been ok with getting everything setup on the network as this is going to be an internal application at work.  Now my query is this.  Are you able to produce forms that can then be linked to a database.  The senario is this.  The it developers have to log their weekly timesheets and print them off and give them to me to then insert into an access database.  Can i with dotnetnuke create a form that when submitted link to either the excell files that is currently in place or would it be easier to link with an SQL database.  Would this take long to do?

I await anyones feedback with this query with anticipation.

XMOD may be what you are looking for. It has a remote data add-on that allows you to connect to databases other than the DNN database. It is still in Beta, but I am using it successfully to pull user data from another SQL DB for contacts/directory module, and I will be testing it soon to connect to an INFORMIX database.
