I wonder if someone knows if there is a library that can convert .html to word document within dnn?

I am not aware of any modules that can perform that type of action, however you might want to look out on snowcovered and other sites of that nature.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish. Word will open an HTML file. You can also rename a .html file to a .doc file and word will open it.  Is that a conversion?

The content need to be generated on the fly.

I tried to create generate the content in html format and in header specified as ms-word; (some css properites not implemented when word converted the html format),  the page will open as word; but the users need to know to save as .doc.

And also, if the user choose the Save in the  pop up window dialog when download the page; the image file (as <img> tag) will not incoporated in the saved file.

If you want to create a true word file with the document enbedded you will need to either use a custom generator class that various vendors make, or you will need to automate Word to dynamically create the document.
