Has anyone done anything to integrate their modules with Amazon S3? This might be really nice to integrate Simple Storage Service into the document or gallery module. Or maybe have is as some type of storage provider?

I would like to hear the core teams thoughts on this?
Thanks.

I can't believe you're the only person who's brought this up and nobody has responded. I would absolutely LOVE the Repository module to allow uploads and link directly to my S3 account. Right now I'm having to manually relocate all files to offsite storage in order to save on bandwidth.

Unfortunately, I haven't got a response on this. Is it because Microsoft doesn't own Amazon?? (...just trying to spark an argument)
