Hi, my instalation of DNN 04.03.04 has as been "Up and running" for quite a while now.

now for some reason I get the follwoing message when I try and open the File Manager

Everything else seems OK. Can anyone give me an idea of what has caused this error, or how I get round it.

Many thanks
Andrew.....

Thanks for the heads up on that post...

I have tried to do that, but I am not sure if I have done it correctly or not.  For me I now get this message.

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: F:\DNN4\Admin\Files\FileManager.ascx.vb(323): error BC30311: Value of type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeNode' cannot be converted to 'DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.TreeNode'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: F:\DNN4\Admin\Files\FileManager.ascx.vb(323): error BC30311: Value of type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeNode' cannot be converted to 'DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.TreeNode'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Did you have any more luck than I did?

I also notice in the forum at
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=4108

that Lawrence mentions that he has installed EMail manager 2.6 from dnn-modules.  I also have this installed, do you?

Yeah, I believe there are some spots where they are converting the type --- CType() --- notice the line number on the page -- FileManager.ascx.vb (323)

Go to Line 323 and Where it says TreeNode - add that Namespace --- There's about 5(?) more spots for it!!

That should do it for you!!!
