Hello!

I have a client using DNN version 4.3.5 who is trying to set up user accounts without notifying the user (site is in test, and they don't want people to be trying to access the website before it is pushed into production).

They are able to create the account without having the user notified (by unchecking the default checked box of 'Notify')
The problem occurs when they are adding roles to the user. They uncheck the notify user box and click to add the role. As soon as they do, the role is added, and the check box becomes checked again (with an e-mail having been sent to the user).

Does anyone know of a patch or workaround for this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help :)
Amie

Maybe your client isn't waiting for the postback (page reload) to occur after unchecking the "notify users" checkbox?
