Hi Alex,

That is the issue - but I think I raised it against the FTB editor.

Yes Alex, this sounds like my originally posted problem.  Looking at the date is seems likely it was never fixed.  But it would also seem as though noone is using the DNN Newsletter or we would have seen more questions.  Is this true?  Am I another nieve beginning DNN user trying to use the internal Newletter when everyone else knows to use XYZ instead?  Is there another option I should be trying?

There are still a load of issues that need fixing that got frozen in time I'm afraid, this is probably just one of them.

The good news is that there is real progress being made, at least with the core code (just look in Gemini at the number of issues fixed in 4.4.1 and 4.5.0). You have Charles Nurse mainly to thank for this + the whole of the QA team who validated a ton of issues led under Shawn Mehaffie, who did a ton of donkeywork here.

Admittedly there is still quite a lot of bug fixing to do, but it looks very encouraging if the current pace is to be kept up, and I really hope it does. Looking at the bugs in Gemini I'd say the newsletters and the banner ads appears to be the weakest point at the moment, well have a look yourselves and make that judgement yourself. However there are many strong points, otherwise we wouldn't be using the software.

Happy Easter!

the Newsletters can be a very valuable part of DNN.  this should probably be a separate project.  are there any updates planned?

I wouldn't know, I'm not part of the core team, I just help out. I'm sure if somebody wanted to head such a project the core team would listen to suggestions.
