We are a web hosting/email/ecommerce/advertisement company.  We have a DNN install that has made its way from version 1 to 4.3.7 and has over 100 active portals.  We are running 1 server with IIS 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 on a Windows Server 2003 Std SP1.  We have a dual Xeon with 4 GB of RAM.

The point of this post is not to toot our own horn or solicite more business but rather find out if there are any other companies out there doing the same.  We seem to run into issues that only occur with our situation and I beleive that issue is due to the size of our installation.  We run into "out of memory" issues, precompilation issues on modules, and other various problems.

I propose that we start a group here of large dnn install companies so that we can share best practices, solutions to errors that we only seem to run into, and any other issues we may run up against.  If this sounds like something that would be useful to you and your company, please reply to this message or contact us at support@spencehackney.com

Back to the initial issue... You are getting "out of memory" errors not because of the hardware, but because 32 bit windows server can fit upto 2GB of RAM into Application Spool. Very often spool recycling or 64 bit platform will fix your issue.
