I have been struggling for quite sometime on creating a certain sort of matching website that can do the following thing.

1. Users can log in and fill out a couple of surveys about themselves.

2.  Users are matched to other users based on survey results.

3. Administraters can log on and see these matches.

While there would be a bit more to it than this (users need to be added in the first place by the administrators, etc.) this is the basic functionality of the site.  It would look nice, but not over complicated, and that isn't the hard part. I feel like it should be relatively easy, but I don't really know the first thing about making a website that incorporates a database and a matching program?  If someone could give me some direction/offer some help I would really appreciate it.  Thanks

There exist numerous scripts for PHP that are basically for dating, such scripts match varioud criteria. It'd be a good place to begin. Such things can get very complex as well. My brother works for eHarmony and code they use is extremely complex.

As the person above mentioned look around and see what code exists out there for a starting point.  I would invision you needing to create a few DNN modules for this to be successful, but I will agree with you that to do this in it's basic form should not be that complicated!
