Any ideas on the easiest and least painful way for the 3.2.2 Membership provider model to be reinvoked - reincarnated - ressurected under  4.5.x?

The present version appears to restrict one username per host installation while the other seemed to allow for more  flexible configuations.  Maybe I am misunderstanding the benefit and logic of this new model, any insight or feedback to the benefits of the present membership model is appreciated.

DNN 4.5.0 still uses the Microsoft Membership Component, introduced in DNN 3.0, that prevents having the same username more than once per database.
