Is there any way to backup a DNN site so that when I re-install DNN, I can restore the old site?

I'm a little new at using DNN, but the reason I'm asking is because I had the infamous Dotnetnuke.Common.Global not found error. One thread suggested to reinstall DNN. I did that and of course, without having backed up the old site, I lost all of my work!

Any help on either backing up a DNN site or the Dotnetnuke.Common.Global error would be . . . helpful!

Thanks.

Backup the DB and the folder DNN is installed in, that's all.

In this blog by Erik VB you can read some more (it's about moving a site, but in a way that's what you want...)
