History has proven, and not just in DNN but in most software releases, that any "X.X.0" release should be treated as a preview release to wrap your heads around the latest changes and/or new functionality. It shouldn't be used as an immediate upgrade path to your existing sites and/or clients.

An "X.X.1" release is when you start to take a serious look at updating live sites and is imminent shortly after a major/minor release.

The Core Team has been very thorough at providing a point releases shortly after a major/minor release.

Just my .02.

Good job Core Team!

I think DNN is the only corporation that announces release changes in a blog...   let's hope history doesn't always prevail  :)

It was also announced in a Newsletter that went out last night. Maybe not everyone has received it yet.

I meant specifics...   the newsletter was simply an announcement.    I'd like to read (code changes) to know how this affects the application, etc.    Many people make changes and they would like to know ...  oh forget it..   I just need to adjust and realize Gemini is not going to be updated, we dont get to know what is being planned (roadmap is completely out of date now, and documentations is gone)...

Its free....  what else do I want  :)

Actually Gemini is more up to date than it has been in the past and there are very few issues that have not been moved from the public project to the private projects.  We are still working on the processes to keep this even more up to date but lets look at what has been accomplished this past 3 months.  In January there were 1,200+ issues that were sitting in the public project and now 80%-90% of those are cleaned up (Large part due to Alex Shirley).  In addition, the private core project has been cleaned up some (still more to do) and progress is being made.  I admit Gemini has not been the most up to date as it could have been in the past, but that is changing and we are moving in the right direction.  Everyone just has to be patient, these things take time and no one is perfect.
