Hi folks,

I am pretty newbie to asp.net and I am trying to create an aspx.net page. I am willing to list a cashier details like first name, last name, blah blah by passing a variable in URL by doing something like this.

http://www.mysite.com/displaycashier.aspx?id=11

Then, in the page i want to read this variable and compare it in the SQL statement and display the cashier detail in a gridview. The gridview select statement looks like "Select Cashier.Firstname, Cashier.Lastname From Cashier Where Cashier.ID="this variable". I also don't know how to use this variable in the sql compare statement.

Please help.

Warm regards.
