I was seeing a lot of this in 4.1. - was hoping not to see it in 4.5.x

I am not using DNN core compression - took the compression line out of the web.config - so it is not related to compression. Or whitespace filter, either - it is turned off.

If I restart the application, I get a good read on the first page of event log. But when I try to set it to more than the default 10 event messages per page, then I get the error. Or if I try to navigate to a second page. And also, when I delete a couple of entries.

Anyone else experiencing this?

edit: BTW, this is on an upgrade from 4.3.7 to 4.5.1. Everything else, so far, seems ok ...

I have exactly the same issue. When changing from 10 logentries to a higher number I also got this error very often. I use DNN 4.5.1.

please check the upgrade scripts inside the /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider folder, it looks like one of the previous upgrade scripts have not run sucessfully.

I checked every single log in this folder from 03.01.01.log through 04.05.01.

Each of them was empty except for 04.04.00 which contained the following:

Error: HelpURL

What should I do?

Thanks -

try to remove all entries from the the eventlog and check, if the error persists.
