DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.CreateUser(object) --> what does this do? does this sort of registers an object of type UserInfo into the users table of dotnetnuke???

I'm trying to create an autoregister function for my site where in, users who are first logged in a previous site will automatically registered in my site when they click on it and eventually automatically logged in as well...

thanks for your valuable input! been working on this for about a week!

addt'l

if i need to tamper with my membership provider to get users to be registered on the fly, how can I go about this? or is there really a way??

John

one more thing, when you add a user (register) in dotnetnuke, what are the tables directly affected?  say, users table, userprofile table and so on and so forth. so I would know what to manipulate. or is there methods in dnn that can create the user implicitly after explicitly defining it? thanks , i really need this guys, thanks!
