Hi,

I wanted to know ideally what could be the load which a DNN portal could bear ? i tried testing a DNN 4.0.3 website setup using Microsoft ACT, and found that the max load which it can withstand is around 100 simultaneous borwser connections.

Regards-

Gary

Perhaps this is because by default the maximum pool size of a connection is 100.
You might try this again after editing your web.config file and modifying the conection string with stuff like this:

    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=[SERVER];Integrated Security=True;User Instance=False;Database=[DATABASE];connection reset=false;connection lifetime=2; Connect Timeout=2; min pool size=5; max pool size=150;pooling = true" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

Other things will play into this as well, such as server configuration, compression settings, and other DNN performance settings.
