How can I tell what scheduled process is causing this? I get many of these each day, and they usually happen in pairs with the exact same time stamp and often within seconds of the app restarting.

check out the frequency of the jobs the scheduler is running and decrease the values for the frequent jobs, so that the next execution does not start before the previous one has finished.

We are having a discussion on an issue simular to this in the benefactors forum.

This may be becuase you have more than one application process using the same DNN Instance.

It can happen if you point more than one IIS Website (or virtual folder ) at the same physical DNN folder.
It can also happen if you are running DNN in a Web Garden.

My config is that I have two separate DNN installations in my root folder. One called /dnnprod and the other /dnntest. These function independently of each other and my hoster has set them up for me as separate virtual folders. As far as I know I only have one virtual folder (and IIS website) pointing to each physical folder. I'm not that familiar with IIS, etc. - what should I ask my hoster to ensure there's nothing in their set up that may be causing this?

In terms of web-garden - I'm not, but I don't know what my hoster is doing - they've never mentioed this. I do know that my SQL databases are on different servers, if that matters.

Hi Jeff,

You could just ask them to make sure that there is only one web application configured to point to one physical folder.

The should also know what a web garden is, but you can point them at the link i put in earlier to clarify.
