Starting on April 26th, I started getting a ton of the following error message in the log viewer for one of my sites. I have no idea what it is, who's calling it, or why. Googling for it hasn't turned much up except that it's maybe related to Windows Update Server. The site where I'm seeing it seems to be running fine (though the rate of sales through the Catalook store seems to have fallen but there are still sales). The reference file, /SimpleAuthWebService/SimpleAuth.asmx, does not exist. The error seems to occur when the scheduler runs.

Any ideas?

SimpleAuth.asmx is part of WSUS server.  Some computer, perhaps even the server itself, is setup to get it's automatic updates from your web server.

Check the IIS logs to see what IP the request is coming from.
