Hello.

Here we go...

I login to my DNN 4.4.1 portal.  Next to the control to LOGOUT is my DISPLAY NAME.  When I hover over the DISPLAY NAME is baloon pops up and tells me to "CLICK HERE TO EDIT YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION".  So I click on the control and it reloads the home page.  So in other words...I am unable to edit my account information unless I log in as ADMIN, or HOST and use the USERS menu.

My desire is to be able to edit my own account information and also to allow my users to edit their account information.  If there is anyone out there in DNN-space that can help me trouble shoot this it would be appreciated.  If not, it makes the control to "CLICK HERE TO EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION" as useless as nipples on a bull.

Please let me know what to look for.  Thanks.

Regards,

ltm

I assume that you have set the "User page" in Site settings to your Home page. Try checking it.

Ok, so now you have 2 options to fix this :

1. Turn the User Page to <None Specified>. This will make the function work like default.

2. Or if you want to create a custom User page, just point the User Page to another tab. Then place the "User Account" module on that tab. Remember to set View permission for the module to "Registered User" only. This method will let you customize your User page, which means you can place in it whatever module you want, beside the "User Account".
