I have just been introduced to DNN and I would love to be able to run this on my website, but my ISP doesn't support SQL Express or MS SQL without paying lots more on fees.

Can DNN be used with any other type of DB i.e. Access or MySQL?

That is correct, there are no free alternate database providers for DotNetNuke (and S.Leupold is assuming that is what you're looking for because you mentioned the price of using MS SQL).

However, there is a Oracle provider avalaible at snowcovered.com
