Does anyone know why I would not see the Host menu when I login with my Host account? I just upgraded to 4.5.1 (from 4.4); the upgrade went OK except for a couple of SqlDataProvider errors. But the site works OK if I'm not logged in or if I login as admin. When I login as host, it looks just like admin, except the user name is "Superuser Account". I checked the database, and this account is listed as the Superuser. But I don't see the Host menu; there is a link at the top of the control panel that says "Install Additional Modules", but when I click it, nothing happens. Without access to the Host menu, how can I install the additional modules that  I need?

Thanks,

Eric F

I would guess that the "except for a couple of SqlDataProvider errors" bit might be the issue. Can you post the errors?

Nik,

here is the upgrade dialog.I'm not sure where to look for the "log" referenced in the response.

Thanks,

Eric

Ah...yes. You can find that log file intuitively located in ~/Providers/DataProviders/SqlDataProvider ;-)

Nik,

Ok - that helps. scrolling through the log there are numerous errors indicating that objects (tables) are missing; in fact, I think the problem is that I don't use dbo as my schema, and the installer doesn't actually use the databaseOwner parameter of the SQLProvider element.

I guess I can go through the logs and manually execute each failed SQL command, prefixing the correct schema on the table references as I go.

Any other suggestions?

Eric
