Hi,

Im having some problems getting into the user admin page to reset a users password. The error im getting is:

This Project references a prior version of CountryListBox version 1.0.2182.30184. To use 'DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.Address.cboCountry', you must replace the reference to CountryListBox with version 1.0.2273.18702 or higher. -

I've searched high and low for a solution, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!!

A full listing of the error is:

Thanks to everyone who replied

I managed to solve my own problem in the end - so am posting here for anyone else who has a similar issue. (took me 1 day!!)

I have no idea how this happened to begin with, but in the end i :

1) downloaded the relevant version of dnn from www.dotnetnuke.com

2) unzipped the download.

3) backup my current c:\inetpup\wwroot\dnn\bin directory

4) copy the contents of the downloaded/unzipped bin directory to c:\inetpup\wwroot\dnn\bin - overwrting the contents.

5) Resetting the security persmission on the bin folder to give access to the "aspnet" ( maybe network services) user account.

That seemed to do it for me. Hope this helps someone else in a similar situation... if it does let me know here...

It's not necessary to set your permissions on the bin directory because usually this is inherited from the DNN directory.

usually being the operative word here.  Pasting folders as is done in an upgrade can upset the folder security permissions so it is a good idea to do it if you are having issues.  I do it as a part of my upgrades.

Sure, when you've troubles during the update process it's a good idea to check the permissions. But when you have an DNN root directory which permissions are well set up and you paste something into this tree all permissions are automatically inherited.
