I have set up several test accounts (registered users) and can't log in with them.  The error message I get says: "An error has occurred. An error has occurred" (That is so helpful they had to say it twice).  The address bar then shows the following: www.mysite.com/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Input+string+was+not+in+a+correct+format.&content=0

I have tried all kinds of usernames (user123, user_123, Mr_User, MrUser, etc.) and none work - even the simplest, so I do not know what the input string format error is all about,  Host account works ok.

Any help is REALLY appreciated.

Thanks!!

if this happens from initial installation, I suggest to reinstall. if it happens since an upgrade, check out the install log files at /providers/dataproviders/sqldataproviders.

If you still can login as host user, check out the event log in admin menu.

I have the same problem in my site.

I've installed a new skin, and I can login with Super-User account. However, with regular

account, I can't login, and I get the error.

With Super User Account I looked in Site Log, and this is what is say :

BTW : The same skin works on another DNN site, with the same Host.

What is wrong with my site?

sfaber: time zone setting seems to contain an illegal value for your host user. I suggest to check this directly in the database, UserProfile table.
