I've run into many problems with DNN, but with the help of this forum I've been able to work through them. The latest one seems to be a problem with 4.5.2. After a clean install, adding the Account Login module to the Left Pane causes IE7 to load the page indefinitely. Reloading the page appears to fix it (and viewing it in Firefox confirms that the module was added) but after that point any time a login is attempted both IE7 and Firefox enter an infinite loop.

I've deleted databases, changed permissions, and rebooted my computer more than I'd like to admit. At first I thought it was my setup, but after scrapping 4.5.2 for the last time and reinstalling 4.5.1, I can confirm that the Account Login module works on my 4.5.1 install.

This still could be isolated to my system, but I can't understand why this is happening. The only corrupt file that was in the zip was the skin file which I don't think I'm using. Even if it was used, it shouldn't cause an infinite loop.

Suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Okay, I just browsed the forums and other people are having the same problem. I'm going to try the workaround, but I'd like to see an official fix issued, or at least acknowledgement that somebody is working on it. Thanks.
