is there a way to revert back to a previous version of a module? I have upgraded to a newer version and now it is not working, so I would like to change back until at least Monday.

I'm guessing you are hoping to avoid completely uninstalling the module - if that is the case it would really depend on the module  and the specifics of what was in the upgrade and most likely a bit of manual intervention. (Doubting it would be an *easy* task...)

But, If an older version of the module is available for download - and you don't mind uninstalling the module (and therefore losing any data/settings associated with that module) it should be as simple as downloading and installing the older version.

What module is it that you are looking to "downgrade"? Maybe more specifics will help clear the issue up a bit.

Active forums 3.7.1. It requires a license key, whcih I have, but the software is giving me an error when I attempt to enter it. Being a late Friday Night, I may have to sit the whole weekend without a fix from the company.... which I would very much like to avoid.

I don't believe you can install an older module over the newer one without changing the version number in the DB because when you go to install the older module over the newer one, DNN tells you that you can't.  But if you go into the db and modify where the version number is to one before, you could have more luck.

Having said that, I can't tell you what it will do to your forums..but I'm pretty sure that if you make an effort to delete, and install from new - you'll guess what I'm saying here - you will lose your forums.

I suppose you haven't got a backup have you?
