Just a reminder...  This is not compiled code.  All Source code is provided as is.

Why not modify - test and adapt the framework for your specific and limited application use and build
a version that you are confident will operate in your production environment?

Forking from the core code base is not that big an issue. Just keep a change log and log into gemini any changes/fixes you suggest be made to the core for future release consideration.

When the next rev hits...  You can test and reference your change log and decide what needs to be done.

Not to offend anyone - developers - users - core - dogs or gods...

Its your baby... take charge and responsibility of it.

I think some of you need to take your bp medicine..    all of this started from this?  I wish there was an ignore button, then the replies would be on topic, imagine that.

After reviewing a few issues reported in 4.5.2 and 4.5.3 and even the core team admitting a few mistakes in these versions and that a new release would come soon  ( run on.....),

When will 4.5.4 be out so we can upgrade and avoid these issues?

Actually bri', it didn't start with "this". It's a pattern of behaviour with you.

I've updated 3 live sites to 4.5.3 recently and it took all of about 15 minutes and have experienced none of your issues.

I highly doubt that I'm just "lucky".

I also just got through setting up a dev environment with 4 installations of of 4.5.3, all in about 10-15 minutes, and all not experiencing issues.

My issue with you isn't the topic, my issue with you is your negativity, your attitude, and you're continued disgruntled display towards DNN.

Remember, this is a free, open source product. No one is forcing you to use it, and no one "owes" you an explanation.

Your continued bashing of the benefactor program is just another example of all of the above observations.

My ignore button poke was just that, a poke. A feature like that would be reserved, by me, in it's use towards community "members" that offer nothing of value towards the progression of the product or the help of others having issues.

You would certainly fit my criteria for it's use, forum wide.
