Hello all,

I tried to work with DNN4.5.3. I installed it many times in my computer and on a webshost.
I got exception error after a while (for every installation) when I tried to login or register.
Where can I write about it?

I want to try working with previous DNN version. I don't trust DNN4.5.3.
Can someone explain what are the DNN4.4.1 and DNN4.3.7?
Why can we still download them if there is a newer version?
What are the differences between DNN4.3.7, DNN4.4.1 and DNN4.5.3?

Thanks for your help
Nir

Each new DNN version has new features and bug fixes, and we usually recommend to use the latest version (see Products >> Developement >> Release Schedule, for the mayor changes in each version). There might be however 3rd party modules relying on internal interfaces, that might have changed and users might require to stick to a previous version, until there is a compliant upgrade of this module.

As mentioned above you can view the release history, but personally I would stick wtih the most current version UNLESS you have a specific module that you want to use that will not work.

My reasoning behind this is that between 4.3.7 and 4.4.0 there were MAJOR performance improvements that made huge impacts on site performance.  Then 4.5.0 introduced ajax functionality and other items.  I have moved all of my sites and am not looking back.

As for the reason the previous ones are available, DNN makes all versions available, the application is open source and they want to make sure that everything stays available.
