Strange problem. I have 2 user accounts that cannot view the contents of any module; the accounts are the host account and site admin accounts. All other accounts can see/edit the contents.

This behavior is consistent across all pages and modules. I've tried adding new pages and different modules all with the same results.

I've added several new accounts to the administrators role and they can all view/edit the contents.

I've tried setting all possible combinations of permissions for the pages and the modules. I've tried resetting permissions by coping permissions to descendants.

Currently my permissions are:

  • Page Permissions are setup so that "Administrators", "All Users", and "Unauthenticated Users" can View and Edit.
  • Modules are setup with identical permissions. Permissions are not inherited from page.

I've tried this using IE and Firefox from 3 different computers at 2 different locations.

My DNN version is 04.05.01.

The site is hosted at Godaddy.com.

No errors are logged into the Event Log.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

And the modules aren't minimized? Sorry to ask such a dumb question but I had a "senior moment" the other day when I wondered why my modules were empty and realised I had minimized them!

The other thing is do you have a different skin/ containers combo for your host and Admin account to your ordinary users? Could it be faulty?

Cheers,

John

The minimized/maximized button doesnt do anything for these two users when I click on it. It does work for other users.

I do have a skin on the portal but I'm not using a different skin for these users. I've also tried removing the skin and restoring the original skin.

Thanks for you help.
